Here the size sets the width of the strap, not its length. Choose a narrower strap for a smaller dog.

Does the lead keep sliding through your hands, or does the material irritate your skin? The Boondog Original Lead is made from Boondog’s own microfibre webbing, woven with twice the usual amount of yarn: soft and light without giving up strength. It suits large, strong dogs too.

The handle is padded, so the lead does not cut into your wrist when your dog pulls without warning. It also gives a steadier grip.

The carabiner is aluminium — light but solid — and has a screw lock you can close when you want it.

The thread is German SERAFIL from AMANN, the same used in German car interiors. That means colourfastness, abrasion resistance and no deformation with changes in temperature. The webbing itself is woven with twice the usual amount of yarn, so it is strong and soft at once.

The 1.4 metre length suits the daily walk: close enough for control, long enough for comfort. This lead is not made to be worn hands-free; the Play Leash 2.5 and 3.2 m are.

Available in 2 widths and 12 colours, matching the Boondog collars and harnesses.

Care: hand wash in lukewarm water (max 30 °C) with a mild detergent. Air dry. No tumble dryer. Do not bleach.
