Tired of your dog pulling on the lead, but unwilling to put a tight collar on him? The Boondog Martingale Collar strikes the balance: it sits comfortably loose while you walk, and closes gently the moment your dog pulls.
Webbing instead of steel. Where a martingale usually has a small steel chain, Boondog uses its own soft webbing for that part. The collar therefore tightens with the same band that sits around the neck, with as little stimulus for the dog as possible.
Designed to make slipping out more difficult. Made from 25mm soft webbing. The adjustable clip lets you set the collar to your dog's neck.
Boondog is a premium Korean brand. Available in 12 colour combinations and several sizes.
The webbing is microfibre, woven with twice the usual amount of yarn and sewn with SERAFIL thread from Germany’s AMANN. Tensile strength of the webbing: 500 kg (5,212 N), tested by KATRI. The buckle is acetal, made by WOOJIN.
The D-ring stands proud of the band, so the lead clips on easily.
Care: Hand wash in lukewarm water, air dry.
