Measure around the widest part of the neck and leave room for two fingers - add about 2 cm to what you measure. Pick a size wider than the neck but narrower than the head.

Tired of your dog pulling on the lead, but unwilling to put a tight collar on him? The Boondog Martingale Collar strikes the balance: it sits comfortably loose while you walk, and closes gently the moment your dog pulls. No choking, no stress, just control that works.

Webbing instead of steel. Where a martingale usually has a small steel chain, Boondog uses its own soft webbing for that part. The collar therefore tightens with the same band that sits around the neck, with as little stimulus for the dog as possible.

The system stops the collar slipping over the head without pressing on the windpipe. Made from 25mm soft webbing that does not chafe or irritate, even on longer walks. The adjustable clip gives a proper fit on any neck.

Boondog is a premium Korean brand used by dog professionals worldwide. Available in 12 colour combinations and several sizes.

The webbing is microfibre, woven with twice the usual amount of yarn and sewn with SERAFIL thread from Germany’s AMANN. In a tensile test at the Korea Apparel Testing Institute it held 5,212 newtons, about 510 kilos. The buckle is acetal, made by WOOJIN.

The D-ring stands proud of the band, so you can take hold of it and set the collar to the width you want, even with a dog that is pulling. That raised construction also absorbs the shock when your dog lunges forward.
